I have been scouring the web looking for a holster for my 3913NL, and could not decide on what to get. I did not want to wait months for a custom made holster, but still wanted something decent. Well, today I went to a local indoor range to shoot the 3913, and since I was there I asked if they had anything that would work. After trying several holsters we found a Desantis Speed scabbard that worked great. The holster is sized for the Sig Sauer 239, but it fit the 3913 like a glove. It seems like a better made holster than the Don Hume I have for my Ruger SP101. I may end up getting a Desantis for the Ruger someday.

I see alot of posts of people looking for a good holster for the 3913, so I figured I would share my find. For $55.00 I think I got a good deal.

Excellent find.
What color trigger and hammer is your gun?
Mine I bought new in 1994 and it has ambi safety and silver trigger and hammer. I know there is a difference in the cut of the trigger guard on some of the 3913's that has to do with how the holster fits, but I can't ever remember which one I have.

I like the looks of that holster and just wondering if it would fit mine.

Mine has the black trigger and hammer and is the "NL" model. It only has the safety on the left side.

I think it would still fit yours.

I like that. It looks like it will fit my 4516; what is the thickness of your 3913?

Raz, I am not sure, I know the slide is less than an inch thick.

Thanks C/O, I believe they are the same platform. I'll see if I can find one locally to try it out. While looking on Midway, DeSantis makes one called the Tuck This 2 which looks pretty cool, similar to an Uncle Mike's IWB (the stiffer kind) holster but with a mag pouch directly in front of the gun space. That would be nice if it worked.

I tried the tuck this while at the store. I did not care for the way it attached to the belt, other than that it was ok.

Went by the local "toy store" today and their selection of Desantis stuff was limited. One of the Glock holsters worked but didn't cover up more of the trigger guard the way the one for the Sig does and the bottom end was open. Not that big of a deal, but I like how yours is sealed at the bottom. Anyway, thanks again for the info.

Raz, mine is not sealed at the bottom. The 3913 comes just about even with the bottom of the holster.
