It funny what you can find when you are not looking for it.
Here's an old Bowen MFG Rear Sight for my Smith & Wesson. I forgot I even had it. Fortunately while scrounging around for something else this popped up.
I've been shooting with a C-More Red Dot on my 617 for years. I decided I wanted to switch to regular iron sights for a while and installed my stock rear sight. I never did like the view of the original S&Ws.
Mounting this I could really focus better on the front sight. My groups were tighter and I could hit faster. Hopefully this will all help me during our monthly Steel Challenge Matches.
