Found a CS-1

Just picked this up. A 686 CS-1 4" with box..not fired, and has no 2M stamp....Also has nice original wood combat grips plus the pachymar and wood grips that came with it....

I thought all the CS-1's were 3" barrels???

Nope, they were 3' and 4".

Very nice gun with some extras to boot. I had my well broke in CS-1 2M stamped 4" at the range Sunday. It is one of the smoothest shooting Smith that I own. I hope you are going to shoot it and enjoy the experience of a very well made and rare revolver.

When I bought my 4" CS-1 new in the late 80's it came with round butt PC Magna's. Those combat stocks were put on after it left the factory. A nice touch though.

The 4" seem to sell at slightly lower prices.
