It isn't necessary to go all out when you make something to eat. I like egg mcmuffins and found an easy way to satisfy my craving.

I start with a nonstick muffin pan. Break an egg in each cup and put in a 350° oven for 15min. Cut back 30secs for a yolk that is a little runny. While the eggs are cooking fry up some bacon and let drain on a paper towel.

About a minute or so before the eggs are done toast some english muffins and butter both halves. I put a piece of sliced cheese on the bottom half. The cooked eggs should easily slide out of the pan. You'll find they're the perfect size to fit on the muffin.Place one on top of the cheese and add some bacon and enjoy. Don't forget salt and pepper before cooking the eggs.

Sound like a lot of work? Not really. My muffin pan makes 6 eggs. I always make extra bacon. Both will easily store in a tupperware for a week. All you have to do the next day is get out the leftovers...toast the muffin...assemble the sandwich and nuke in the microwave for 30-40 seconds.

As always the choice of drink and accompanying firearm is left to the individual. :D

I've done the same as the OP but not having english muffins and bacon I used toasted bread and, wait for it.................Spam!
No need to mention Spam Lite or Low Sodium Spam. If your eating Spam healthy eating concerns are thrown out the window. But it sure tastes good!

This thread is headed downhill, fast.
So I’ll ask - does anybody still eat the Redneck Pate,
Potted Meat?
A while back Some of the TV Moonshiners mentioned they ate it when they couldn’t leave their Still to get food.

You know what Karl Childers said was in potted meat?
Haven't had any in years but I liked it as a kid.
My paternal grandmother used to mix Underwood Deviled Ham and Philadelphia Cream Cheese about 1:1 for a sandwich spread.

It has been so hot here lately (111 heat index yesterday, 93 actual) I've been doing more cooking on my outside grill to avoid heating up the kitchen. The cast iron skillet on the grill works rather well - plus the grill has a lid.

I've decided prefer my steak cooked with butter in the skillet better than just directly on the grate.

No flame-ups either.

I've been roasting my vegetables outside also.

I've cracked an egg into a 2 c. measuring cup and nuked with the yolk barely broken so's not to make it puffy.
Fits nicely on a toasted muffin with whatever meats and cheeses I have on hand.

I use cast iron frying pans in the toaster oven to make McMuffin sized eggs. I use Channel Lock pliers to move and flip the pans.
