FOUND Need a holster for 4” N

Looks like DeSantis no longer offers their Speed Scabbard for N frames; it's a shame, because IMO it was the best off-the-shelf option.

Check Privateer Leather. I have several revolver holsters from him, and they're top quality. He's neither cheap nor fast (13-14 week turnaround) but worth it.

Maybe I am missing something...just went to the Desantis site and put in the specs...looks like they are still available...

I see what I did; the other frame sizes are listed next to each other, but the N frame is listed by itself further down. Good catch!

Already said above but the best concealment holsters I've found for the 4" N frame are the Simply Rugged or the much older Roy Baker pancake. You have to find the Bakers on Fleabay.

I already have a Galco Phoenix but that's my camping/hiking holster. I want something that will work under a jacket with a lower profile during the colder seasons. Recommendations appreciated.
Simply Rugged, Barranti, or Just in Case holsters. Surprised not more people talk about Just in Case holsters. Never owned one, but they look very nice.

If you haven't tried an upside-down shoulder holster...do. The Agent holster from Ritchie Leather is awesome! The trick is that the cylinder doesn't ride under your arm. It's in front of the arm. The hammer is down and away from you, and the stocks are under your arm (and much lower than the cylinder on a horizontal rig). Works great with J-frames.

An N-frame though? I don't know yet. This thread reminds me that I need to put the order in for an Agent in N-frame.

Have been using a Bianchi R9 for many years for 2" Js and 2.5" Ks. Also have a Safrailand that will take a 4" K.... One for a 4" N would be interesting...

Just so you bunch of sixgun-toting enablers can feel good about yourselves, I'm currently packing as I type a 4" M28-2 in the aforepictured DeSantis Speed Scabbard. Milt Sparks 6-4C speedstrip carriers also visible. There's some Barranti ammo-carrying items not in this shot. Belt by the good folks at A&G.

(Note: any implied or inferred derision toward sixguns, sixgunners, and / or sixgunning in general is completely tongue-in-cheek - I mean, I have "sixgun" as part of my user name LOL)…

Another vote for the Barranti Hank Sloan. Wore my 27-9 all day in total comfort. Pro tip don't get a lighter color. The bottom hangs a little lower than I'd like and the foot of the holster might be seen a lil BUT the holster is a joy to wear. Does not move. Only thing I regret is lack of a hammer shield but it doesn't seem to dig

Doc Barranti makes good leather. I use this one for my 4" 25-9 or my 625-7 .45 Colt MG.

That my friend is a stunning and beautiful weapon and holster combo. In your avatars honor, I'll need to take a gun and ordinance pic.
