Found nice Lady Smith 3913

While visiting my brother this weekend in Louisville, I found a 3913 Lady Smith in the used gun case of a LGS that my brother goes to from time to time. The price on the tag said $475.00. I asked to see it and after inspecting it, it was in as close to new condition as I have seen in a 3rd Gen gun. Long story short I walked out the door with it after giving the clerk $430.00. It came with original box and paperwork along with two 8 rd mags (flat base plate and extended baseplate). It is in better condition than the basic 3913 I bought five years ago in my hometown. The Lady Smith only has regular Novak 3 dot sights whereas my other 3913 has Trijicon night sights. My daughter really likes my older 3913 and she turns 21 in September. This may become her CCDW gun in a few months! Hopefully I can get some photos up soon.

Nice catch! I've been on the hunt as well, you paid just what I'm willing to pay. They're sought after and that along with the style has driven the price to twice what you paid on all the usual sites.

Nice catch and good price. I had two of the lady smiths and sold one and traded the other. I now regret letting them go.They are getting harder to find nowadays.....Pictures?

The Lady Smith 3913 are selling retail for $600-$700 with original box. VERY nice guns and excellent price. Apparantly that shop does not check Gunbroker .... or this forum ...

The Ladysmith was the best 39 S&W made, IMO. You know you have a winner when even a bunch of macho LEO's are buying the gun with their own money to carry when they can, and not caring a whit about the name.

That's a hell of a price for an LS in said condition. Congrats on such a good find! I'm sure your daughter will love it. I've been looking for one for my wife. They are getting tough to find at a reasonable price. She likes my 3913tsw but prefers how the LS feels in her hand. (her friend owns one).
