Foyle's War is back

A new episode is streaming on Acorn.TV. You can sign up for a free trial that will cover all three new episodes. PBS will have it later in the year, but I couldn't wait. It is a very good show, but apparently these are the last three. Too bad. Nice to see Chief Superintendent Foyle and Sam back!

I guess Anthony Horowitz is on to greener pastures. He is writing a new Sherlock Holmes novel and I believe he has submitted his manuscript for the new James Bond novel. Busy guy!

That show sorta grew on me; I've seen all the episodes on NetFlix.

It is a very smart, very well written and acted show.

An interesting tidbit I heard about Michael Kitchen: he would ask the shows writers to give him fewer lines. Watch him in the typical episode and you'll see the man can speak volumes with his facial expressions.
