FPC or Response

That is an easy one, which ever one fills my needs. I saw the FPC first so I got it. If I had waited I still would have gotten the FPC. I like the folding aspect of it. It is a fantastic carbine. Very easy to shoot.

Everyone has to decide what they are looking for. There is value in both of them.

If I didn’t already have a PCC and was choosing between those two I would go FPC.

I don't think much of ether one but my wife wanted a lite 9mm for fun shooting so figure out if weight is an issue and the ability to fold up easily is wanted get the fpc . Both use m&p mags so the only real difference is an AR based model offers far more options and upgrades you can mount on the AR9 version over the fpc .

I would probably go with a FPC. To me, the reduced size factor allows for easier concealed storage, especially in a vehicle or even a backpack, which for me would be the primary use for a 9mm carbine. Right now, I shoot a Beretta CX-4 carbine, and a CZ Scorpion that fit in that category.

Some people here are not fans of the FPC or the Response. I think either would be good for plinking or home defense. The FPC might be better if you want something in a car.

They are good if you are looking for a PCC. I would put them up against others on the market. If you are looking for something closer to an AR style then the Response is the one you want.

I gave it some thought and instead decided to build a PCC in 9mm, Glock Mag compatible with a side charger and last round hold open. It will be an 8 inch. I will be mounting a dot on it as well. I already have a full length .223 and 300 Blackout rifles so I wanted something compact, maneuverable etc.

Took my new Response to the range yesterday for the first time. It has a 503 CU-GR on it ,which with my eyes I pick up much faster than red. Very happy with performance and accuracy. Initially shot at 50ft.; 2 inches down and 2 inches left. Corrected the optic and moved to 25yd. Shot center with no further adjustments. I ran about 150 rounds of 115 and 124 gr reloads and a box of Magtec factory; all functioned perfectly. Fun gun to shoot and not expensive as I reload lots of 9mm. As an aside, this is my first AR style rifle, never thought I would want one but I am very happy with the purchase

FPC is lighter & shorter
Response is AR pattern and has a ton of upgrade options.
Some prefer the mag forward of the trigger for fast mag changes.
Mounting a scope would be easier on the Response.

I bought the FPC to go with my Storm, Sub2k and ASR carbines.
