I finally got around to disassembling my FPC in order to clean, lube and get it ready for the first range trip. Man…the bore was absolutely filthy! M-Pro7 soaked patches kept coming out black as coal for a long time. Once I got it clean I took a look down the bore and noticed the rifling is very wide and has a groove down the middle of each land. It is obviously deliberate as it is exactly in the center of each land and is consistent. I’ve never seen rifling like that. Also, I did not have any trouble reinstalling the bolt. I just held the FPC muzzle down, inserted the bolt and gave the carbine a good vertical shake and it slide right past the hammer easy peasey. For lube I hosed everything down well with Hornady One-Shot. Seeing how filthy it was from the factory I determined that was the way to go. Don’t want an oily lube collecting crud.

I don’t have a borescope, but here is a crappy cell phone pic.

Mine was dirty too when I field stripped it and cleaned it before taking to the range for the first time. I assumed it was test fired at the factory. I'll have to take a closer look at the rifling next time I clean it.

I noticed my bolt face was quite dirty fresh out of the box. After reading about the some ejection issues, I was happy to see this. I took note of how dirty it was before I cleaned and took it to the range. Took at least 30 rounds for me to get the bolt face as dirty as it was when I bought it.
