FPC safety sticking

Hello! I just got a new FPC 9mm, and did the required takedown, cleaning, and oiling. While the cross bolt safety was stiff prior to this, now it is VERY hard to put into fire position. It’s easier to get into the safe position, but basically almost impossible to use. When in the fire position, it will dry fire, and I tried to follow the instructions carefully. At this point, I am not confident about taking on a range, since I don’t know what is up. Anyone have this experience, and any ideas on how to get the safety working right?
