I think the people behind this are trying to prove if you put a couple hundred shotguns into one bad neighborhood and not another that the crime will go down in the 'hood with the guns. I think they are single shot 20 gauge shotguns and come with shells and training. I just hope they aren't taken to pawnshops and traded for booze and tobacco.

Some anti gun folks have their knickers in a wad over this.

I hope they aren't used for a lot of suicides.

My heart soars to see people follow "Plugs Bidens" advice to. "Get a shotgun, Get a shotgun." Hope it works for them.

I just heard about this. Pretty gutsy for the guys behind it, but it seems like a real "put your money where your mouth is" thing. They believe they will seem crime go down in the areas they have armed, and I like that.

I'd pick up one of those freebies, and if it was junk, I'd go across town to the local buy back and cash it in to get some coin for lottery tickets, cheap booze, smokes, and beef jerky.
