Free Magazine Promotion Again?

I was reading another board (California oriented) and a member went to pick up their M&P9 (after annoying 10 day wait) and he got two free mags, directly from the store. He said it was part of a new promo S&W is running, but had no other details. He bought it from Reed's, an LGS.

Does anybody know anything about this new promo?

It'd be a great idea for S&W to do that again, but then we'll be inundated with "where's my free magazine(s)?" posts here....

(S&W's done this before. I'm not sure what they're going for now, but the mags I got were a nice savings.)

Gun manufacturers should sell mags at a more reasonable price. They are ridiculously expensive.

The latest assumption on that Calguns thread is that it's a Reed's store promotion only on the FS9.
