Even if you are a member, forward this to someone who isn't,or sign 'em up yourself! Geez,it's FREE!

The NRA is giving FREE 1-yr memberships to everyone that wants to join. Please join and pass it around, they are trying to build up their membership to fight pending legislation that impacts our right to bear arms.

The damn Stanley Cup thread has 10 times the looks. I guess y'all can load your N-frames with PUCKS. Or just throw 'em at the bad guys,whatever....

My guess is a lot of people on here are already members. When I saw this posted a month or so ago I signed up my father.

Me, the Wife & Kid and my Dad are all already members. I'll put in for a friend though. Add me! Thanks.

I am a life time endowment member that would like to upgrade to benefactor but I have spent a lot of money on guns lately, so I will send in some extra money but will have to hold off on the upgrade

I sent the information to a couple people I know that aren't members.

Thanks for posting.

I signed the wife up. I know how disappointed you must feel. I was giving away a $45 Medal of Honor book/DVD Karma of our country's greatest heros and only about 30 or so people were interested. I was floored and very sad...Shoo

OK, I went ahead and did it, but ... the reason I didn't the last two times I saw this is I can't figure out how to reach this particular link directly at their site. When I see something like this I try to work backwards to the home page just to make sure this isn't some kind of phishing page intended to get my information. Was this link only provided to current members in order to recruit new ones? If I start at the NRA's home page there is no way I can find to arrive at the link, even by typing "free membership" in their search toolbar.

I took it on faith and signed up. If anyone can provide some sort of confirmation as to where the link came from I'll email it to everyone I know.

Thanks.

My husband received his NRA packet w/membership card, etc. the day before yesterday. It's official.

That is very true,no doubt. There are almost 45,000 members here now and MY guess would be that less than 25% are NRA members. And I'm being HIGHLY optimistic.

I understand what you mean here, I ran an NRA giveway on another forum where I offered to pay for $1000 worth of memberships. Only 23 people even signed and 2 of them never sent me thier info to sign them up.

Very dissapointing.

Tom I bet a high percentage of the folks using this board are already NRA members. Family too. I'm a Life member myself.
