Front sight replacement or front and rear???

I was looking at a friends gun with a blacked out rear sight and front fiber site. I noticed it was much easier to pick up the fiber site when bringing the gun up. So my question is should I keep my rear white dot sight and just change the front sight to a fiber optic, or is it worth the extra $80 to get the adjustable rear sight at the same time. I figure it would make it easier to sight in once the front sight is replace, but is it worth the $80?


(I am looking at Dawson sights for my M&P 9)
