Shipped in 1975 according to serial # check on this site. Previous owner claims he put 50 rounds of .38 special through it and put it away. I have no way to verify this, but it is VERY CLEAN. Smooth trigger, pinned barrel, grips are period correct, but not original to the gun. I would rate it as new, but I'm no expert. No box or papers
