I have an excellent condition Ed Brown Special Forces 5" 1911. I ordered the gun from Brown last year planning to carry it as a duty gun. I have since gone to a much larger agency and that will unfortunately not be possible.
It is flawless. It is stainless steel with black Gen III finish. I ordered the pistol with a blank slide, so no "special forces" to clutter things up. It has 10-8 Performance rear sight with whiteout line night front site. The rear of the slide was serrated. The pistol has Browns cocobolo grips and comes with a spare fitted extractor in the factory Brown case.
I've fired less than 150 rounds through the gun in the last 8 months.
