Looking to sell or trade my X5 Legion. The gun was purchased in September of 2024. I ended up buying a Dan Wesson DWX, and am looking to sell or trade this in order expand my collection of Smith Revolvers.
It has a Holosun 507 Comp-Gr mounted on a Springer Precision plate. Factory rear sight is included. If you are unfamiliar with red dots, this is one of if not the current favorite optic for USPSA competitors. It is a very large window, which is helpful to keep the dot in view under recoil. The green reticle works well for my eyes, as I have a slight astigmatism. Slap your favorite light underneath, and you'd have an ideal nightstand gun.
Price includes (4) magazines with Springer Precision 140mm extension baseplates & extra power mag springs. These normally ship with three mags- I ordered a fourth to be fully kitted out for USPSA. The baseplates alone cost me $42.50 ea. Factory Legion Baseplates and mag springs are included.
Factory hard case, as well as factory soft case are included with sale.
Gun has Armory Craft tungsten guide rod in it. Between that and the tungsten infused grip frame, this thing weighs what a steel gun would, but offers the comfort of a polymer gun. The recoil impulse is laughably soft.
Also includes Hammer Armament Thunder Classic holster, set up for Safariland QLS quick detach. If you'd like to set it up for a regular belt, it is a matter of three screws and a different mount. Happy to help you figure out what to buy. Holster was $128.
I also have (4) Hammer Armament magazine holsters that match the finish of the holster. These fit my DWX mags, so I don't need to sell, but if there is interest, I'm happy to work them into the deal so that I can buy ones to match my DWX holster.
The gun is in very good condition. It has been 100% reliable, and I have had zero issues with any ammo that I've put through it. I am happy to send as many pics as you'd like. Feel free to PM for more information.
I am asking $900. These are going for ~$750 on Gunbroker without the optic or accessories. With the optic and accessories, I like to think this is priced aggressively. It is a ready to rock USPSA rig.
I am looking for no lock Smith revolvers, primarily K and N frame. Willing to accept partial trade, or add cash on my end for the right gun(s).
