Altamont boot grips for S&W J-frame round butt, excellent condition. These are laminated hardwood in alternating colors Charcoal and Ruby. This is a rare color from Altamont, in a rare configuration - no checkering and no medallion. Altamont makes the factory grips for many S&W revolvers.

comes with screw and the alignment pin (both pictured). fit is great.

$45 shipped --- SOLD!!!

Custom antler/stag/horn grips for a S&W J frame round butt. I believe these were made in Thailand. They are a decent set and look good from far away. I have uploaded plenty of hi-res pics to show the imperfections in fit and overall quality. The biggest issue is that the holes for the screw do not line up perfectly from one panel to the other. I included a pic where the panels are sandwiched and you can see that the right panel sits forward of the left panel. In the pic it is aligned so the screw holes line up. Mounted on the gun, it's a non issue though. The panels fit the frame well enough, and the screw snugs down tight just fine.

The overall fitment is fair to poor. The panels index to the grip very well and they are snug with zero wobble or play. But they are not contoured perfectly to the grip. It's especially bad near the butt of the grip. It's not very noticeable unless you're really looking for imperfections. The panels are not proud of the frame anywhere, so you don't feel it in your grip either.

The panels are smooth with no exposed "bark". I bought these as "elk antler stag grips" but these are not elk. They may not even be antler lol. But they do look good on the gun, especially paired with a Tyler T grip.

Please look closely at all the pics and decide if you're willing to overlook the minor issues, and if it's worth it considering how cheap I'm selling these.
