Cleaning out the grip box a bit.
Prices include shipping in the Lower 48. Payment can be personal check, cashier check, money order, or if you're comfortable doing a Stripe transaction over the phone, we can make that happen.
Post here with the grip # and a "I'll take it" and we'll figure out the particulars from there.
FYI I used a background remover tool for some pics which degraded the quality slightly. If you want some better pics, just let me know.
SOLD #1 Altamont Olivewood Roper-Style for K/L SQUARE BUTT. $85
#2 Colt E/I Frame Bubba Specials. I got these 2nd or 3rd gen Python grips with the checkering sanded off by some previous owner. I sanded them a bit smoother and used a dark stain that brought them to nearly black (you can see grain in sunlight). Unfortunately, I didn't do a superb job on the new medallions and they sit proud on each panel. They're well epoxied in so will likely be this way forever. My learning experience is your gain! $40
SOLD #3 1911 Government size Flame Grips. $30
#4 S&W J frame SQUARE BUTT factory magnas. This is the nicer of the two sets. Serial stamped 147870. $40
SOLD #5 S&W J frame SQUARE BUTT factory magnas. $35
#6 Colt E/I Hogue Stripe Cap Monogrip. This one is gorgeous and really belongs on an older Python (pictured on my 2020 one). Early production, unknown wood but they sure look like Cocobolo. I do not see wood with this quality and grain out of Hogue anymore. I had to modify a newer stirrup as these early Hogues don't have the same channel inside as the current production ones. These will not fit a prewar E frame with the grip retention pins machined into the frame as there's no channel for them to slide past (I tried with my OMT). $150
#7 Hogue N frame round butt Monogrip. Again unknown wood but looks like Pau Ferro. Crack where it transitions in the back, common issue when buying these used off an estate auction
but I've priced accordingly. Pic #3 shows the crack. $55
#8 Factory N Frame SB Presentation Grips. I got a pair of these recently, both were about equal in condition but the other set is missing its screw. I'll hang on to that one and offer this one. Condition is excellent with a couple of tiny marks. They look a little small on my 27-2 but they hang over the edges of my 14-3, so they're definitely for an N frame. $140
