Short of buying an FSS, is there a reliable way to get the FS M&P pre travel to be more similar to the Shield?
I just put the DCEAK on my FS, which in hindsight probably wasn't necessary because I believe I have the latest stock trigger. I didn't go for the full FSS because I'm trying to get the Shield and FS as similar as possible for consistency. The part I can't figure out is why the FS has way more pre travel than the Shield. I understand there are safety considerations but I would think those would apply even more to the Shield.
So do I have any options to reduce pre travel and get the FS closer to the Shield, beyond putting the FSS on both guns? Trying to avoid that since I like the Shield as is, and the hinged trigger doesn't bother me enough to spend that kind of extra money.
BTW, I know the Apex and pre-travel has been discussed ad nauseam, I just may have not seen the right thread.
