There are countless Randall knives out there with a name etched on the reverse trademark side of the blade. With rare few exceptions these guys are never identified and fade into anonymity. This is an exception. This Randall model #3-5" is from the collection of my late good friend Billy H. Redburn.

In the early hours of 18 April 1942 Redburn was one of the armorers aboard USS Hornet who loaded the bombs on Jimmy Doolittle's B-25 in preparation for the first U.S. air raid on the Japanese home islands. Billie was one of our heroes from the "greatest generation".

This early 1980's model #3-5" features six options. The handle is ultra premium "amber" stag. This color only appears on about 1 in 100 pieces of stag. The other options are finger grips, name plate, wrist thong and a white compass as well as Billie's name etched in the blade. The original sheath is a period Johnson rough-back.

Price is $795.00
