The officer wants $750 for the gun and accessories FTF (GA) or $750+ shipping to a FFL Dealer.
Please find below an e-mail that I received from a friend (LEO) and asked if I knew anybody that might be interested. If you are, please let me know. He would like to sell the gun, scope, case and magazine as a package deal.
Ruger 10/22, blued barrel finish, 18 ½ inch barrel and has a Jacaranda (light brown, gray & light burgundy) laminated stock. The rifle is about 2 years old and in superb condition. Only about 25 rounds has been fired through it. Just enough to sight in the scope. A Leupold VX-1 Rimfire scope is installed on the rifle. A Volquartsen TG2000 custom match trigger has also been installed. I have the 10 round box magazine, plus five (very hard to find) unused Ruger BX-25, 25 round magazines. Unfortunately I do not have the original box for the rifle, but it is in a nice red and black nylon Ruger 10/22 gun case. The scope does have the original box.
I have been poking around on line and came up with retail prices for rifle component accessories. The rifle sold for $269.00 – $299.00 new. The scope retails for $220.00. The Volquartsen custom match trigger assembly is around $269.00. The BX-25 magazines are going for about $30.00 retail if you can find them.
The ammo is gone.
