Pointless, semi auto is 10x's more accurate and u waste less ammo. And as Smokin said, the BATF has no sense of humor so its not worth discussing.

Damn n00bs, lol

Wow.. Are you"fishing" or you just do not know what laws your looking at violating... There is no way a private citizen can legally accomplish this! Please do not even try to do this or anything like it. Kyle

If you search at your local greybar hotel, I'm sure you can ask "Bubba". He'll have some real good info and will prolly love to spend his Sunday sharing it with you.

Manufacturers go through a great deal of design and engineering to make sure their weapons cannot be converted to fully automatic fire. It is illegal for any citizen to own a selective fire firearm manufactured after 1986. So no matter what tax stamp you get it will never be legal to own. Unless you are planning on a really nice vacation to club fed!

In rebuttal to all the replies, thank you all for your input, I had the curiosity related to the glock 18 and we as a nation..an American made Gun making company (Smith and Wesson) would try and compete in this free-marketed capitalist practicing society to develop such a firearm for fellow M&Ps.

thanks again

3 round burst

Don't know about the 3 round burst, but if I had a select fire pistol that would be the extent of it for me. I have not run a Glock 18, but my wife and several others in a class a few years ago. There are videos on YouTube of portions of the class, and in one video is my wife firing the Glock 18 using a 33 round magazine. Other than single shot there is full auto. And it's evident in the video that controlling a 9mm pistol in full auto is very hard to do.

Warrior Knitter goes full auto - YouTube

The class was titled "Fighting From A Vehicle". Many windshields were completely ruined that day. And for those interested in that part, here is a taste.

Anyway.... I caught a bass and it was " " this big.........

Smith isn't stupid. If there was a viable market for a full auto handgun, they'd be on it. I suspect that there is a fairly small niche market for something like this, and glock probably has that market cornered. The military wouldn't have much use for something like that, and I can't imagine most police would either, and they are the only ones who could legally purchase it. On a side note, I fired an MP40, full auto one time and it was a blast. I'll bet it was more fun than a full auto M&P 40 would be
