Fun range gun

That is about as homely a gun as you will find. They turn up on the used shelf at Fleet Farm every so often. Not expensive and therefore tempting. I have a pretty good stash of 7.62x25 ammo for my CZ52. OTOH, I already have one homely gun that shoots the round, and don't really feel like I need another.

It is a fun round to shoot.

LOL:) I think in the "looks" category, it'll give my K38 and 15 a run for the money:D

I have a couple of Yugo M57s with the torch and grip variations. I also have a 1953 dated Romanian Tok. I prefer the Yugo for the longer grip and "better safety".

UGLY AS IT IS, THAT IS THE NICEST EXAMPLE OF A CHICOM TOKAREV THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN, 3482jl…...

Thankyou one eye joe:) I bought it from a soviet-bloc arms collector 5 years ago. And I haven't seen a Model 54 this nice:)

I like the 16" flame that those put out!

Here's one. When I was still in the Army, my boss picked this one up in the Parrot's Beak area of RVN. It belonged to an NVA lieutenant who was kllled in an Arc Light strike. My boss sold it to me for $75 because his little boy was beginning to get into it. I have the capture papers; I put them in a safe place; so safe I haven't been able to find them again for 20 years.

Is it import marked and does it have the import required safety?

Yes on both accounts. I believe unless the guns were "bring-backs", this was required after 2001:)
