I have a much loved M-18 for which my favorite target of choice is the little 50 rd. cardboard box in which .22 LR ammo is commonly packaged. When it comes to "hard" targets, I really like empty steel vegetable cans. The aluminum used for canned drinks is to light, just about any kind of decent hit and the can flies all over the place. But out in a open field it is a lot of fun to see how far out one can bounce the can and how many times one can get a hit before the inevitable miss occurs. The neat thing about shooting aluminum cans is that once the fun is over, the cans can still be thrown in a sack and sold to the reclamation center. Thanks for the post. Sincerely. brucev.
