For anyone that might be interested, I just got an email from Galloway Precision. They expect to have a trigger kit out for the BG2 "in a couple weeks."

M*Carbo says they are also working on one.

My Bodyguard 2.0 has such a great trigger, I can't ever see replaceing it. Breaks at 4lbs very crisply. Probably the only gun I've ever owned that I thought the trigger couldn't be improved upon.

I haven't checked weight on mine, and it does break cleanly. But I could do with less take up.

I think the BG2 has a trigger that is TOO LIGHT for a pocket-carry gun, even with a pocket holster.
I’m hoping someone comes out with a replacement safety lever that sticks out a little more a d is easier to operate.

I'll get excited when somebody comes up with something better than that useless manual safety lever.

The BG2 trigger can be improved.

The trigger safety is wider than the trigger. Why?

The trigger safety also has sharp edges. It's the first trigger I've shot that after a mag or two my trigger finger gets my attention.

I tested the trigger pull with a Lyman Digital and Wheeler Digital. After 7 pulls each, the average is 4 lbs. 2.4 ozs.

Is that OK for a defense pocket carry in a Muddy River Tactical kydex holster?

I don't know why it's wider but it doesn't bother me.

I didn't notice any sharp edges on mine and after over 700 rounds through mine, it shoots like a dream.

Mine breaks at an even 4 lbs

I carry mine in a Muddy River pocket holster and not at all worried about it going bang without me pulling the trigger. Even the way the holster is made where it grabs the trigger guard is a non-concern as the indent stops short of the trigger.

Since this BG2 is strictly a pocket carry defense weapon, at this point it’s shooting good accept for a needed minor tweak on the factory front sight adjustment for a closer POA/POI.

I probably will not install the XS Sights. I am curious about the aftermarket triggers, but I do not want to disassemble the gun to swap a trigger. So… I will most likely live with what it does and how it shoots after 300 to 500 rounds with zero issues. I have other handguns that are more fun to shoot.

I measured the trigger and it does break at 4 lbs, give or take. I'm going to see what Galloway has to offer. I changed the trigger on my LCP Max and the hammer spring with Galloway's offerings. Changed triggers to Apex on all three M&Ps. Never cared for the hinged triggers.

Eric at Galloway told me by way of e-mail on August 15 that they will have a stronger striker spring that should be out by year end. He said they will offer it mainly to make primer strike more positive. He add that the new spring should add 1.5 to 2 lbs to the trigger pull.

Same e-mail said they are working with the spring maker on several projects. So, like many things, it is said to be in the works.

PS: I do not do Facebook or instagram etc... how do they announce new offerings?

You can subscribe to their site via email to get their announcements.

I don't want a 6 lb. trigger on a BG2. With the size and light weight of a BG2 its already difficult to manage good trigger control that will not cause movement and inaccurate POI. I don't have big revolvers, so I'm used to a 4 lb trigger and lighter.
