Hey guys. Been battling a few issues with the gas tube and low profile block for some time now. After weeks of research I haven't found the exact answers I need. Installed a new Troy low profile gas block on my M&P10 to fit MI 15" handguard. I could not get the original gas tube out of the block and ended up breaking a roll pin and drill bit trying both ways. I was able to attain a new gas tube from S&W (only after waiting two weeks for them to ship me the wrong one, AR15, and then having to wait another 3 weeks between return, process and correct shipping). So I finally got the new tube but I have no new pin now to hold the tube in place on the low pro Troy block.
What size is the pin and is it simply a new roll pin to order for like $1.50? Unfortunately Midway and Brownell are out of stock but Joe Bob has a AR15 one. Same size?
Is the roll pin the only thing I need to stick in the hole to keep the tube in place? Thank you
