Well I need a new one and would love a Weber but have a 400.00 cut off money wise. I see Dyna Glo with stainless steel components getting good reviews but the choices are endless. Any recommendations?
Thanks

As RalphMP9FS said, check Craigslist. I was able to get an immaculate 2 year old Stainless Weber Spirit (3 burner) for $150. The guy was moving out of state and was selling off anything he didn't want to haul.

I use the Char Broil true infrared. It has 4 burners and a side stove thing.. it cost about $350.

THE GOOD
-No direct flare ups
-Nice for the money
-Cooks indirectly due to the plates covering the burners.

THE BAD
-Still get some flare ups when it's really hot and enough fat or grease drips on the plates covering the burners.
-the temp gages always got to the highest text or just shy of. Even when turned down

I got a good Costco special 8 years ago. Rotesserie, 2 infrared burners, 3 grill burners and storage for not much more than your listed amount.

My Weber is 17 years old and fires right up as well. IMHO save up a few bucks more and go for a Weber - they are really worth it! I am not in the market for a new one but I do recall seeing them priced in the mid $600's just last week.

All the other grills I've owned never lasted more than a few years without replacing the ignitors, briquets, grates, blah blah blah. Not only do the Weber's last and last, but they get real hot real fast! Even their covers are great!

Well I ordered the small Weber in the picture recommended by Loutent and judging by the reviews can't go wrong.
Thanks for all the suggestions and input.

Mine today. Stake, salt and pepper rub marinated in a smoky beer. And ribs in my own marinade consisting of honey, stone ground mustard, Worcestershire and a host of other ingredients.

Just finished grilling up some Halibut, Salmon and a couple of steaks.

Just a hint:

When you take home a pizza put it on the grill (in a pizza pan) for quick, delicious crispy pizza in about 3 minutes. No more soggy oven heated pizza! What a world of a difference it makes.........

Don't know where you are shopping, buy $400 can get you a lot of Webber. You can get a charcol grill with a pizo lighter and gas boost that is NICE for around $350. An all gas one can be had for not much more and now is the time to be buying as the big stores are moving out stuff to get ready for the fall.

Switched to a smoky joe gold weber (just the wife and I now). I don't ever see going back to any kind of gas grill again. Charcoal is dirty, messy clean up, but its all about the taste. BiggB
