Gas prices have jumped 26 cents per gallon since yesterday in this area. Luckily, I found a station that hadn't raised their prices yet and filled up. The news this morning said to look for $4.00 per gallon by this summer.

No surprise to me. I figured that sometime after the elections the price would go back up.

Local diesel prices are $3.59 at the known low price retailers...I can get by until February on what's in my truck, but I'm thinking I might fill up before then...I have a 100 gallon capacity...

Two blocks away regular is $2.99. Besides a filling station it is also an ice cream parlor with the best eggnog on Earth so a fill up will have another $2.99 tacked on.

The gas tax goes up in PA on January 1st. PA already has the 3rd highest gas tax in the country.

Indeed. The savings would be nearer $1.25 here in Vegas, and probably $2 in much of SoCal.
We just hit $4 a gallon in the valley ($3.999). The lowest $ its been since I can remember.

The prognosticators are saying that $100/bbl crude and $4/gal national average gas will be back before the end of 1Q23.

One idiot news reader here in the Boston area reported that the price of gas tumbled, it went down 1 cent in the last week. And they call themsrlves journalists.

Maybe it's a regional thing. Prices still going down here, a penny less tonight than it was ten days ago.

Here in Northeast Indiana $2.84 - $3.09 for Unleaded Gas .
