So, how high are gas prices in your area? I don't mean how much per gallon, but the impact. For example, gas prices are so high here that I heard Dolly Pardon is carpooling with Jolene.

Just shopping for two retired seniors don't change much with inflation. Housing, and insurance are the big pills to swallow each month, and they are stable.

There was a sign at the station nearby my house that said, 'We take Visa, Mastercard, Discover Card, and American Express.' After I filled up they took my Visa, Master Card, my Discover Card, and my American Express.

Tuesday $3.73.9, today $4.06.9. WTI crude moved less than $2 today, so roughly speaking 40 gals gas from a barrel should be $.05 more. I guess everybody in the "downstream" needs a piece. Please, no tune up on the "exact economics" of the oil biz, I'm already exhaust-ed. Joe
I was in Europe last week, where prices for regular gasoline ranged from the equivalent of about $7.56 per gallon to $8.90 per gallon...so I won't complain about paying $4.50 yesterday for per gallon of premium.

WKRP just reported drive bys being perpetrated by thugs on skateboards. Venus Flytrap to Rusty can you verify this?
$3.85-3.89 here around Richmond, Va. A few weeks ago we were at $4.15
Actually skateboards are forbidden on public streets/roads/sidewalks here. I haven't seen one in years.
Also...turkeys are no longer allowed to travel via chopper.
