Alright, so after some research and member asking, I'm going to pick up a Fobus HK1 sometime next week I'm guessing. I"m pretty confident I'll like how it wears and holds the firearm. What I'm here for though is other suggestions for the gun. I was reading over the gear page that was setup with a sticky, and I was thinking about grabbing one of the Pachmayr grips. Eventually, I'd like to get those TruDot sights too. Those are nice. I'm not a fan of the whitedots at night.

That said, I've put about 150 rounds through the gun with only one FTE ( and that was prolly my fault ).
***EDIT*** Awesome.. I posted without finishing.

I also meant to ask if anyone else is in Northwest Indiana? Sorry

Anyway, hi!

Pachmayr, hogue, butler creek... all these are pretty much the same and will more than likely improve the grip, although some people dont like the added thickness.

I am waiting on a RSR Defense holster, similar to the Serpa and iTac ones, just to check it out. I have a drawer full of holsters, lol... I mainly use my Uncle Mikes soft IWB one and my Don Hume JIT slide OWB, but have a Task nylon pancake OWB and a cheapy eBay shoulder holster that is amazingly comfortable that I wear if I am wearing a coat or plan to be sitting down for any length of time.

Take a look at the Blackhawk holster that is along the same lines as the Fobus. My local dealer stop carrying the Fobus for a number of reasons but mainly he showed me how retention and release were much better. Also more adjustability and it came with a paddle and a belt rig. Needless to say, I realized and physically saw how much better the Blackhawk was. Then again, it's a little more expensive, I think it was in the $45 range, but IMHO, the old "you get what you pay for" certainly comes into play here. Just my $.02 but I'm glad I listened.
