I have a Taurus M82 (yes, I know!), and an SandW M15-3, refinished in dark grey/black teflon. I have used Georgia Arms 158gr.: LSWC's; plated SWC's. all non-plus-p rounds. They will go where you place them, each and every time. I have also shot Ultramax 158gr. LSWC's.
The plated SWC's are flat nosed, so they will work in your sister caliber lever actions. There is an aesthetic look to them, as well, compared to the 'average joe FMJ'. I mean, it is a 158 grain projectile, which is what both my revolvers are 'manufactured to zero, zero sight picture'.
The only comparison with both is that they are good for recoil-sensitive hands, or those that just found that a thumb has decided to show its age, with a bit more smoke, more flame (good for BG's night vision and your 'flash-sighting'), and responsive to every trigger pull.
