In last two weeks I four coupons for FREE items - but only got Bravo Serra when attempted to pick them up.
Two stores and Three wasted visits.
Just venting.

Betting that some member received the same FREE offers.
Maybe, you had better luck with you local store.

Store 1 3/28/23:

1) FREE 4 in 1 Screwdriver - I had copied the scan code number but had not printed the full coupon.
Nothing is free this week. Last week a different item was free
BRAVO SIERRA
Returned two hours later with printed copy of coupon.

Had one good experience with an ad.

Grocer had Pork Butts for 99 Cents / Pound.
LOTS OF THEM AVAILABLE IN THE CASE!
Bought several and donated them to local soup kitchen.

In Ohio, Unless specified on "Limited Quantities", they are REQUARIED to give you a rain check for that item(s), or give you a better item!

I had to wait over 6 months for the Rain Checks to be filled, but they were.

Their money is still in My Pocket!

It got you in the store, mission accomplished. They hope you'll buy something.

I was a semi-regular customer with loyalty type account.
The FREE offers came to my loyalty type account.

Get the Free !! Emails all the time.
Just got alerted to my Free Wallet and Free Drone!
Been wanting to try a drone.
And Free! If I crashed it on my first outing they would probably replace it!
That's the kind of folks these Feebie Dudes are!

I got the coupon for a free 4-in-1 screwdriver just for coming in the store. I had to go to Walmart to refill a prescription, and it was in the same shopping center, so I walked in. Walked back to the screwdrivers. They had a whole bunch of them. Price $1.49. I took one off the rack and walked up to the counter, and pulled up the email on my phone, and laid the screwdriver on the counter and showed her the ad. She took her little swiper and swiped my phone two or three times and it never worked, so she pulled a piece of paper out from underneath the counter and swiped it. It rang up free. She handed me to screwdriver and a receipt that said $0, and wish me a nice day. And away I went.

I would not have gone down there to get it - burn more gas than the dollar and a half screwdriver was worth. But, since I was going to be down there anyway.

I was actually surprised. Many years ago I had a Radio Shack ad that promised a free flashlight just for coming in the store. Had a picture of the flashlight. They gave me a free flashlight, but it was not the flashlight that was pictured. It was the last time for a very long time that I walked inside a Radio Shack.

But this screwdriver was the one shown.

I've gotten emails telling me I've "won" everything from a pair of socks to lawn mower, to a golf cart. Usually several a day actually. Tools, generators, tool boxes, free airline miles...all for being a "valued customer" with businesses I've never even been in. If I could cash them in, it would be like having the King of Barrundi finally send me that money my rich uncle in the poor house left me.

When I took Econ 101 back in high school, "Mr. Mac" told us two things the first day..."There ain't NOTHING free" and "If it sounds to good to be true...it is."

I just got a card in my mail to say that I had a credit with some kind of home maintenance outfit. Seeing as I don't recall ever doing business with them in the near seven years we've lived here...;)
