Hello everyone, I don't post much but I stop in and read from time to time (I am very busy, I am a full time student at 40 yrs old). I am not new to handguns, just to the M&P line. I ordered the M&P 9 range and carry kit. The price was excellent, $510. I figure the extra magazine is worth the small increase in price for this kit. I am not sure what I will do with the holster though. I am right hand-left eye dominant and was taught to shoot left handed in boot camp a couple of decades ago...who knows, maybe this holster will make me consider going back to my right hand to shoot; if not I will give it away here. Looking forward to getting it. I will post pics and do a review when I pick it up next week sometime...can get down there any sooner.

Welcome and congrats on the decision. I have an M&P 9 full size and think it is an outstanding pistol.

Funny story at changing hands. I used to shoot left handed until I joined the military and learned to shoot the M16 about 40 years ago. Quickly asked if I could shoot right handed and almost never go back. I'm left eye dominant too.

Welcome and many happy rounds of enjoyment from the pistol. My grandfather was left handed, but when he went into law enforcement in 1936, either no one was making duty holsters for south paws, or someone figured he could learn to shoot like everyone else. My dad said that he was very fast and accurate despite having to shoot right handed.

Congrats! I just picked up my first m&p pistol tonight. I got the m&p .40 compact and I can't wait to go shoot it tomorrow.. I also have the m&p ar15or that I love.

Now you have what we call "M&P Disease" there is no cure but more will make you feel better :D

I have full size .40, full size .45, compact .40 & shield .40, but of I could only have one it would be the compact .40, it is THEE gun for me, congrats on a wise purchase!

I'm in need of a holster for my new full size 9. I have a Shield 40 also but I have a IWB holster for it.

M&P fever is contagious...
