Ghost in the shell

Just saw this movie Ghost in the shell.
Scarlett Johansson etc..
Kind of a Bladerunner genre. It also has a Manja animation series.
Anyway,funny that one of the main protagonists underscores the ' old school' versus ' the machine' subtext by pulling out a S&W m27 revolver to finish off the bad guy in this futuristic flick. So forget the Python and Zombies,get ready for the Ai bots!

I've never been a fan of Scarlett Johansson myself. Or Paul Newman, Jane Fonda, Robert Redford, Robert Deniro, Alec Baldwin, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Susan Sarandon, Mark Hammel and several others I can't think of at the moment. See where I'm going with this?

Haven't seen the live action version, but own the original anime one on DVD. There were two seasons of the anime series that were pretty good.

I'm betting you haven't seen the anime movie that it was supposed to be a live action version of.

That movie was woke garbage. With all the deviations in the first 15 minutes I turned it off.
