Girsan MCP35 PI (FM Detective Clone)

I understand disappointment in your customer service experience, but not in the pistol itself.

The 1st time I ever ponied up $1K for a pistol, way back in 1999 & equivalent to $1800 today, it was a Kimber Ultra Elite-the next year they changed the model name to the CDP. Less than 300 rounds in, the extractor broke; I paid plenty for the quality. My point is that ANYTHING mechanical can break.

My take from your post is that you are extremely disappointed in CS & getting the 1 sight screw replaced, than with the overall pistol itself.

You are correct I should have made that more clear. The gun is fine, although I’m moving away from the flat trigger and back to a curved trigger. Personal preference I guess.

I am considering either the Girsan or the SA35, but, although I have reasonably average XL hands, hammer bite concerns me. Guns shouldn't hurt without extra $$$ spent. I have heard both ways about the Springfield and Girsan....solved, not solved? Can anyone fill in the facts?
Thanx!
I have a SA35 and have experienced zero hammer bite and my mits are a little on the large size. It's a very nice pistol compared to the Browning I previously owned. Very accurate as well.
