GLOCK Carbine

I started a thread on pistol caliber carbines and someone mentioned a Glock Carbine rumored to be in the works. I did some research and found this:

I made the comment about the Glock Carbine but in doing some looking around I found conflicting info. I don't think the carbine is going to happen. As you know you cannot believe everything you see on the web....right?

If they ever make that thing, hope I got some $$ laying around to get one!

The date on that article is April 1st. There was a similar one saying Glock was going to put out a 1911. Just April fooling I think.

As a Glock owner since the mid '90s I have been wishing for one of those for years. If they make it, it will sell to almost every Law Enforcement agency that issues Glocks. That, from estimates I have read, is about 65% of departments in America.
Plus, civilians will but them like crazy. I'll definitely get a .40 S&W model.
