There sure were a lot of USC fumble recoveries by OSU, and that helped OSU greatly. The single OSU fumble recovery by USC didn't help them at all. It was reasonably sure to me that the game had already been decided by halftime, and indeed it was. It will be really interesting to see what happens to Alabama next week.

A surprisingly uncompetitive game. In the first half, USC looked like they didn't want to be there. By the time they woke up, it was too late. USC QB Sam Darnold is probably reconsidering his decision to declare for the NFL draft. He probably dropped two or three rounds after his performance in this game.

for the most part the bucks defense forced those fumbles, it's not like usc just handed them the ball.
on the other hand, the buckeye fumble was a muffed punt that wasn't forced, the player never caught it. usc did score their td from that so it did help them.

It was a good game. The only comment I have about our season was how deflating the ejection of Bosa was in the Iowa game. I think that had a major effect on the outcome. I am not taking anything away from Iowa, they won fair and square, but I think it made it a lot easier without him on the field. It will be interesting to see how it all works out. Good ole OSU, the only place you can have a 12-2 season and the fans are calling for your head on a platter !

Congrats to Ohio State. I even wore my Ohio State cap that a forum member gave me a few years ago while watching the game. I got bored the second half.

Yes, it was a defensive struggle in the second half, but in the end, the win is what matters. The Big 10 is 7-0 in the bowl's so far, this is not your daddy's big slow, Big 10.......hey, Jimmy and that team up north, don't screw up the perfect bowl season.

Funny how the brodcastrers seem not to mention the Big ten is kicking butt! Best league in the Country this year. Every time Ohio State wins, makes Penn State look better :)

And yet the top two teams are from the SEC.

That's the SEC trademark for the last 10 years, 1 or 2 teams that are among the best in the county while the rest of the SEC schools ride their coattails talking about the excellence of their conference as a whole. You don't see any of the also-rans from the Big 10, Big 12, ACC, or PAC 12 chanting their conference name at a mid tier bowl game the way a South Carolina or Kentucky fan will. It's not all the SEC's fault, ESPN sure loves to play up the SEC, but I can't blaim them either. Getting the fan bases riled up brings viewers to programs like GameDay. Those ratings numbers bring sponsorship dollars and that leads to things like Northwestern spending $250 million on an indoor practice facility and Clemson putting in a water slide at their practice facility.
