So, why did they not ever really take off in popularity?

Wife bought one some years back, a 20 ga.,never shot it and has decided she wants to sell it. She got it early in the production, as it has fixed IC/Mod chokes and non-select trigger. Beautiful wood.

We'd not been married long when she ordered it and recall gently suggesting she wait until perhaps choke tube and selective triggers might come out, but........

Looked at closed GB auctions and was surprised to see how few there were.

Anyone else here had experience with them, good or bad? Is it gonna be hard to get rid of?

S&W shotguns

I own two of them, shoot birds and clays with them. I really like mine. Cdnn blew the remaining inventory of those out for around $1200. IIRC a few years back. You might check some of the shotgun forums to see what you may realistically expect as far as a selling price. Plus double guns appeal to a certain select market. I think 1,900 is going to be a bit optimistic. Good luck.
