These pictures are taken by me at the Gold King Mine in Jerome, AZ. If you like old stuff and haven't been there you should check it out.

I have tons of pictures, but I have to put them through Photoshop first.

Enjoy...

Gold King Mine Ghost Town :D

Great pictures! I was in Jerome once and never saw all those classic vehicles. I do remember that the town seems to defy gravity and just clings to the side of the mountain. There's also a huge abandoned miners barracks on the hill above the town.

Thank you.

It was our 2nd time in Jerome. The entrance fee to the Ghost town is only $5.00. They do give senior discounts and kids under 12 or 14 are free, but not exactly sure.

It's worth a visit!

Is that the one where the steam shovel (A REAL steam shovel) blew up and shot pieces all the way across the valley?

I can't believe they still have air in the tires.

I'm not seein' many bullet holes. We've got all those trucks around here, but they seem to get some ventilation, then rust away.

Thanks for posting this:
I've been there several times and I always see something I didn't notice before. I've talked to the owner and he's quite a character.
BTW: He used to actively race that yellow roadster you show in one of your pictures.
To get to the museum as I remember it you have to take the side road by the fire house and follow it on back.
The views from Jerome can only be described as spectacular.

You are absolutely right with everything you said :)

I wouldn't wanna live in Jerome, but it's definitely worth a visit. Lots of stuff to see and experience.
