Cabela's posted their Black Friday ads today, and I see the RockChucker Supreme kit listed in their flyer for $249.99. So if you are thinking about getting into reloading, might want to check it out. Plus if you add a set of Carbide Dies and shellholder, should bump it up to over $300, and eligible for RCBS rebate of $50 on purchases of $300 or more.

That's the kit I started with. I still use everything the kit came with. None of it is equipment you really out grow.

And I paid more than that for it... :o

Cabela's has some real good prices on RCBS reloading stuff and if you watch there sales you can really save some $. Get on the mailing list for upcoming sales. I've never been in there store, my wife says something like - over her dead body - my hearing isn't what it used to be, but I'm still thinking it over.;)

Color me RCBS Green.

Springfield Oregon recently had a Cabelas open.....If I go any more frequently they promise I'll have a personal parking valet....

Too bad your wife feels that way. Mine just cringes when I say I'm going to Cabelas.

I'm like a kid at a candy store in there and I am going TODAY....

See you there..... :)

Wish we had one here. All we have is a huge Bass Pro which is still a drive. I like to wander around but the prices are too high.

Don't feel bad Rule3, Cabelas doesn't exactly give stuff away. But with promotions and Cabelas points on the card I'm able to reasonably do reloading through them.

Word of warning though. I have found I have to watch my receipt carefully with Cabelas. Have gone through checkout twice, and found they have charged me more for an item than was listed on the shelf. The $5 more on a box of Berry's 45 leads, being 1 example.

I have ordered a few things online from them. No they are not inexpensive but have good service and quality stuff.

I buy a few things from LL Bean, expensive but "free" shipping and it's forever. Talk about a no BS guarantee.:)

Just bought a new belt, best full grain leather belt I have ever owned.

How do you get that price? I don't get their flyer.

Thanks!

That is their Black Friday 2011 sale price. Doubt they will honor it online. I'll pull the link to the Cabelas Black Friday ad & post it. Click the link to go to the exact page listing the RCBS RockChucker Supreme kit for $249.99 for Black Friday.

Bass Pro Shop has posted their Black Friday ad, but I didn't see any reloading stuff when I quickly browsed through it.

Thank's Smith Crazy. Exact reason I started the thread. The price is good, but like I mentioned before. You combine that with a set of carbide dies and a shellholder you can get RCBS $50 rebate on $300 in RCBS purchases. Hopefully this encourages more people to get started.

Rock Chucker Supreme Kit:$249.99
Carbide dies:$44.99
Shellholder:$7.99
Grand total:$302.97.

The point is that it is NEVER going to get cheaper to get started. Inflation is going to take 'hole here at some point and then a shortage or two and then a panic of some proportion and then....................

Hence, the whole "get started now" thingy!

Keep up "pushing" our hobby, fellow loader! Ya doin' good! :)
