Good-bye Taurus, Hello S&W

Over the last few years there have been only three pistols I wish I had not sold, S&W 4040PD, S&W 39-2(Blue) and 3913 SS. Today I traded even my Special edition Taurus M44C for a pristine 39-2 Nickel (1977) LNIB (org.w/papers)Now maybe the 4040PD next.

I also agree with you on the 4040. Great gun, with not nearly the recoil I anticipated. Mine is a terror with Win. STHPs.

I guess I'm hung up on the 39 frames and since I got lucky with this 39-2 maybe there will be a 4040 out there for me.
