Went to the Hampton, VA Gun show today. Looking for a Mod. 66 no dash or dash 1. Managed to score 2 small containers of
Trailboss and a couple of bricks of primers and was about to leave; almost to the door when I spot what I thought was a stainless S&W. Closer look reveled a 66-1 snubby with orig. box, papers and cleaning rod w/swab. Gun ser.#27K2454 and the stocks are numbered to the gun. Couple of dings to the stocks but I am a happy camper!

I would say that you had a good day! Hopefully the reloading components did not set you back as much as the gun! I went to the show today, and ended up with J frame. A 36, SB 3". The 2 incher was lonely. Bob

Definitely a good catch and hopefully a good deal.

Going to put some larger stocks on it?

Beautiful snubbie! Gotta love the 66's. Congrats!

Sounds like a great day to me. I used to frequent the Hampton Gun Show about ten years ago when stationed in the area and came upon some great deals.

You really do not need that thing. Let me take it off your hands. I will bear your burden, sir. :)

Good buy. Now. Go shoot & send us pix of the perforated bull's ...

had one of those for many years. it was my back-up

Nice find. I have a local gun show coming this weekend. I sure hope that I can get that lucky, but I don't have high hopes.

When it comes to a show, you never know what you will find. I go with low expectations. If something materializes great. I picked up a 3" 36 in the box for $425. (1957) Not a steal, but very nice gun. The problem was that there were 2 nice 15's also. Did not have the money for them. Good luck at the show! Bob
