Looking for a 6" 686+ and maybe a 3" 686+. Paddle or belt would be fine. I've looked at Sidearmor and Comp-Tac but they only make them for N frames. Thanks.

I've got one that came with my used 4" 686 that's marked BTI on the back. I don't know who that is, maybe Bladetech Inc.? It works well, open top and holds the gun securely. Good luck in your search.

Fobus has a pretty good holster cheap but it is for a 4". Here is a link to a guy that does custom Kydex holsters for revolvers and pistols:

Sir, as far as I can tell, Comp-Tac (www.comp-tac.com) doesn't make holsters for L-frames. Seems a little odd given that they make them for N- and J-frames. [shrug] I do hear good things about their holsters, though, and just ordered one for a 4-inch N-frame. I can report my impressions of it when it arrives if anyone's interested. Should be here in a week or so.

KyTac holsters are among the best available, but their delivery time is deplorable.
I have bought a half-dozen over the past few years, but I will not order another. I ordered my last one in March and it took 17 weeks to deliver.
My most recent holster came from Comp Tac, and it arrived 7 days from the order date.

That guy needs to get his **** together. It should take 16 weeks less than that.
For that long of a wait, get some custom leather.

Why don't you call him and tell him that Earp? He's a police officer, and defensive handgun trainer. His stuff is in big demand and he's not working at your pace. His stuff is "together" and for good gunsmithing and other equipment such as David's product, a long wait is not uncommon.

That's what I'm going with. I like the paddle holster a lot. I like that you can adjust ride height and cant. There site is also very easy to use. That makes a big difference to me. If I like the one I ordered, I may order three or four more for other revolvers and autos. Thanks again.
