Hello all.
I'm looking to expand my 10mm collection when I return stateside and a nice 1066 will be on my radar. If only they had come out with a 1013 I think I'd be down to just one CCW pistol.
I'll probably be asking for specs and info on the compact 40xx series as a favor to my brother but I know all too well to use the Search function first. I'm trying to get him away from those polymer Glocks and XDs and get some good ol' metal in his hands.
Doesn't S&W realize that for autoloaders they just need large frames, medium frames and small frames; DA with Safety, DA with Decock and DAO slides/trigger groups; stainless steel and a lightweight alloy in black and silver; for ALL the popular calibers (including .357SIG and 10mm) at their already reasonable prices and they've got the market covered? Add some marketing like they've done with the new M&P line and this USA product will sell itself to the American public. Or maybe it's just me but I know I'd be less a few SIGs, Glocks, Steyrs and HKs.
