"Christopher Lee, the mystical British actor whose haunting, intimidating performances as Count Dracula, the Frankenstein monster and Fu Manchu made him an icon of horror films and the cinematic embodiment of villainy, has died. He was 93."

You can read more here. Even though some of the films he was in were schlock, his performances always impressed me.

Love him in just about everything he was in, even the corny films.
He gave it 110 percent all the time. Wonderful actor.

You could tell he had a great sense of humor.

Sometimes he didn't have any credit but he was in the film such as The Crimson Pirate. He doubled as a stunt coordinator in that one as well as doing and working stunts in so many other films.

Sir Lee, rest in peace. Man I'm sure going to miss this fine actor.

My wife to be and I spent many , many great Saturday nights at the drive in watching him in the Hammer Films , well, we saw most of the movie anyway.

Not many fans knew he was also Ian Flemings (James Bond's creator) cousin  and frequent golf companion.

I was going to post that! But Lee made it to 93. Fleming drank and smoked himself to death at 56. A talent lost too soon.

I think that if Fleming had lived longer, the Bond movies wouldn't have gone downhill so much and so far from the books.

My favorite film with Lee was, The Man With the Golden Gun, although he wasn't well cast as the Scaramanga of the book. Nor was the gun remotely like the gold-plated Colt SAA's of the original character. Britt Ekland was the best thing about the film.

he was .....

the best dracula ever . majestic , commanding and true to the part as anyone ever could hope for.
he was one of the people i would have liked to have met .
he will surely be missed by many , never to be duplicated.... one of a kind for certain .
