Actress Karen Black died yesterday, August 8th. She went too soon. She was excellent in many films, most notably in Five Easy Pieces with Jack Nicholson. I for one am sorry to see her go.

That is a shame. My favorite was the TV movie "Trilogy of Terror". That little voodoo doll gave me the creeps.....Rest in Peace, you will be missed.
I liked her in the Airport movie she did.

Her best role was in my favorite Jack Nicholson Movie you mentioned, Five Easy pieces. She was simple, naïve, and much stronger than the self centered coward she hung out with in that movie. That was a great anti social anti hero movie typical of the early 70s. This great scene is a classic scene in that film for the five people on earth who haven't seen it...
