Can you enter the gps coordinates in a google search and get an approximate or exact location via google maps or google earth?

If so, how does one properly enter the coordinates? For example, what is used for the degree symbol?

I thought the last time I was at Google earth there was a way to fill in the gps coordinates and the map would go there. I still drill down from outerspace.
