Call Tacticool.22, mainly.

I got a GoPro Hero 3 for my birthday from my DW, and I want to run it on my 15/22 for some 3-gun footage. I'll be adding to my camera collection over some time so I have a couple of points of view.

I was wondering how gun footage will look, so I bubbah'd a picitiny mount for it. It works, for a varying degree of work. (It doesn't line up absolutely with the barrel, pity but workable for now).

I was using the dive housing because the range is quite dusty, but I don't need to.

What I did find interesting was the noise transfer from the rifle to the camera. The sound of the mag going in, the charging handle being retracted even the safety going on an off. Does this happen with the "real" mounts like the Tacticool 22 Go Pro mount?

One thing I did notice was my flash suppressor is loose again.

My Bubbah GoPro mount, moved from the pictures to the video because it was easier to flip horizontal than rotate 90.

You can check out Amazon for a correct picatinny mount if you don't like your bubba setup. Noise transfer is going to be there because of the mic. If you want to trim the volumn down put a piece of tape over the mic hole's or attach some type of foam as a wind screen. You might not have noticed the sound pick up on your other recordings as the mic was not as close to the sound source.

P.S. make sure when you tighten your flash suppressor you use a proper vice block so you don't twist the barrel in the receiver or scratch it.

Here is also a setup for Go Pro http://smith-wessonforum.com/smith-wesson-m-p-15-22/287018-gripp-fps-gopro-mount-15-22-a.html

Yeah I'm interested in the GRIPP one, but my e-mails have gone unanswered.

Yeah thank for the tip on clamping the barrel, I did know that but it can't be mentioned enough. Always be careful of that!
