Got Snow ?

Very concerning photo. I am not too concerned about the amount of snow but the small amount of firewood in the shed. It would take half of that just to get the house warm enough for the wife to get out of bed. Our part of Colorado is actually quite low on snowfall this year. Even though I live at 9,000' elevation there is only around 6" on the ground and only have had 29" since it started snowing in October.

That is when shoveling is a real pain. You have to lift it up and throw it. Glad we do not have those issues here in Ohio. I had a friend in Minnesota who told me about how he plans his snow removal since he often has snow on the ground from Nov - April.

Timberline Lodge here in Oregon sits at 6000 feet. They've had 8" in the last 72 hours. There's 85" of snow on the ground. They've had 243" since Sept. 1st. If you had an ocean next door you might have more snow.

This past May I bought a new (and LAST ever) Toro 2 Stage snow blower. I've used it one time so far (Christmas Day). If I never have to use it again, I'll be happy!! You can keep your snow.

Have had about 20" since just before Christmas, most of it still here.
Forecast tonight and tomorrow, somewhere between 5-11 inches.
The pile from clearing the driveway/parking is about 5' high. And it's only mid January.

We've been in a winter storm since yesterday afternoon. No idea how much new snow we've got because the winds have been 30+ since last night. The snow is doing the horizontal thing, rather than just dropping.

our predicted 6 to 12 inch snow ended up being about 2 inches maybe.. with rain in-between every half inch.. so an inch of slush to push so the melt will drain... still heavy... hot coco time now... then a long winters nap.. lol

Have not had any in about a week and it was about an inch. It melted in two days. Tomorrow it the forecast is calling for a mix of rain, sleet then snow, with it melting on Friday.

Arjay gets his wood at Safeway?
Really! Never met anybody who does that.
Way back up in Indiana I knew a retired Human cannonball.
And I never got his autograph.
Could I get your autograph?

I'm in the Sierra's at 8,200' in Mammoth Lakes, CA. We've been getting hammered almost nonstop lately and have received about 200" in January already. Season to date is 375" which is about average for an entire winter. We're ready for a break but love snow.
Hope the photos work. I can't get them oriented correctly. If anyone could help out I'd appreciate it.
(Mod note: Your wish is my command! Pics fixed!)
